Cryogenic Equipment Fabrication
NORI offers unsurpassed expertise in the customized design and manufacture of cryogenic vessels used in a variety of cryogenic and process applications. As a fully certified ASME Code Section VIII facility, we have the requisite expertise to design and manufacture products used throughout the liquid-gas supply chain for the purification, liquefaction, distribution, storage and end use of cryogens. We have the capability to build from your drawings or collaborate with you in developing the design for manufacture. Cryogenic Equipment Fabrication and design have been an important aspect to Ability Engineering Technology since 1987.

Electrical Controls and Monitoring
NORI has provided many electrical solutions to customers looking to automate or partially electrically control their products, as well as monitor instrumentation. We have utilized electronics for operations such as simple heating and cooling systems and as complicated as Helium Purification systems involving over 60 valves and instruments.
Our advanced process control systems provide you with everything you need to maintain exceptional quality and improve the performance and outcome of your processes. When you utilize a system with fewer manual operations and human interventions, you are then able to increase the overall profit margin and potential output. Thanks to remote operations and monitoring, no part of any process is unsupervised. With data collection, you will have every piece of information you need to determine how you can maximize your production.

Waterjet Cutting
We have an Abrasive Water-Jet Cutting System that enhances our internal fabricating capability. This system works using ultra-high water pressure. The high pressure water and abrasive work together to cut a variety of metallic and non-metallic materials. Cutting with two nozzles we can increase productivity of thinner parts by cutting two at once.
At NORI, we are your water jet Chicago resource, providing you with numerous products thanks to the power of water jetting. We can craft everything from a top plate to a cryostat system to small pieces and parts such as spacers, gaskets, and shim parts. We can even create items such as mounting plates for instrument panels, entire machine parts, and pressure vessel top plates. When it comes to water jetting, there’s isn’t much we can’t do.
